Specializing in the field of management accounting, Sherroll developed a keen ability to successfully oversee accounting functions for complicated and diverse multi-million dollar businesses through her fourteen plus years of extensive experience. After graduating from South Dakota with a B.S. in Accountancy, she was a key developer and co-owner of a successful commercial fitness-equipment company based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In 1999, Sherroll was appointed Financial Controller for Paris Spa by Mandara in Las Vegas. Her role with Mandara expanded to include overseeing the financials of Mandara’s portfolio of nine cruise ship spas. In 2000, she was a key leader during the acquisition of the spa contract at the Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas. Sherroll’s responsibilities included setting up new properties systems, internal controls, payroll structures, and other detailed and critical tasks.
Following Steiner Leisure’s 2001 purchase of the Mandara Spa group and opening of the Elemis Spa at the Aladdin, Ms. Scow was promoted to the post of Regional Controller. In this capacity, she was responsible for the daily financial management of the two spas. In addition to managing the accounting and human resource aspects of the business, she served as liaison between the two spas and Casino and Resort Operations, ensuring smooth financial reconciliation and assisting in all vendor and contract negotiations.
Sherroll lives in Las Vegas with her husband and three kids.
